Tigilsky District

Tigilsky District ((ロシア語:Тиги́льский райо́н)) is an administrative district (raion) of Koryak Okrug of Kamchatka Krai, Russia, one of the eleven in the krai.〔Law #46〕 It is located in the west of the krai. The area of the district is . Its administrative center is the rural locality (a ''selo'') of Tigil.〔 Population: The population of Tigil accounts for 23.1% of the district's total population.〔

Within the framework of administrative divisions, Tigilsky District is one of the eleven in the krai.〔 The ''selo'' of Tigil serves as its administrative center.〔
As a municipal division, the territory of the district is split between two municipal formations—Tigilsky Municipal District,〔Law #338-oz〕 to which seven of the administrative district's rural localities belong,〔The Law #46 lists one urban-type settlement and seven rural localities in Tigilsky District. The seven rural localities are listed as a part of Tigilsky Municipal District in Law #338-oz.〕 and Palana Urban Okrug,〔Law #350-oz〕 which covers the rest of the administrative district's territory, including the urban-type settlement of Palana.〔The Law #46 lists one urban-type settlement and seven rural localities in Tigilsky District. The urban-type settlement of Palana is listed as a part of Palana Urban Okrug in Law #350-oz.〕
